Nationalheritage

National Heritage trust is a registered Organisation under the Indian Trusts act of 1882.

To establish, maintain and promote museums for dissemination of knowledge to the public through documentation, preservation, display, research, publication and exhibitions of tangible and intangible heritage of ancient places, monuments, objects, people and activities associated with the heritage of the States and Union Territories of India. Collection or development of books related to the above mentioned aspects, and strengthening of specific library sections for them.

Organizing exhibitions and presentations of knowledge-building initiatives for schools, colleges, universities, institutions, and organizations. Furthermore, engaging in educational activities such as seminars, workshops, competitions, quiz programmes, competitive examinations and conducting activities such as studying and utilizing the traditional methods of our Indian nation for this purpose.

Organizing events on national and international days of use. Promoting the day of birth and death anniversaries of national and international leaders and scholars. The National Heritage Trust Headquartered in Pondicherry also operates a branch office in the cultural and the temple city of the ancient Madurai, Tamil Nadu state of India, with the vision of working for heritage conservation activities across India.
